Meet the BSO Kindergarten Staff

 Eve Margol is an educator with 18 years of experience in the classroom and individualized instruction. With a Master’s Degree in Early childhood Special Education, Eve is also a coach for non-medicated strategies for children with ADHD. Eve lectures at conferences and parent training programs on strategies of how best to support your child with Executive Functioning, behavior, health and nutrition support. Eve also focuses on reading and writing strategies, using Orton Gillingham and the Phono-Graphix® reading technique, for which she is also a trainer. A frequent lecturer at conferences and educator gatherings, Eve is a passionate advocate for active engagement in the classroom, with a guiding philosophy centered around creating a specialized learning environment that offers differentiated instruction and social/emotional strategies designed to help students learn and navigate their world.


Julie Lowe is a certified Knowledge Engineer and Master Naturalist with a degree in cognitive science and artificial intelligence. With over 20 years early education experience, she has combined her expertise in science, animal husbandry and early education in the creation of Cricket’s Critters, a hands-on science education company focused on science education for children age 3-14. Using hands-on science and live animal ambassadors, Julie explores the principles of physics, chemistry and life sciences with young minds to encourage children to understand and thrive in their world.

In the last 20 years, she has focused her expertise in science, knowledge management, and early learning strategies to create and teach activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for the success of young children.  Julie emphasizes the integration of all learning domains from science to language and literacy; mathematics; the arts; personal, social and emotional development; and understanding of the world.


Tenley is an Olney native who is a proud mom of four (4th grader at Greenwood, 3 yr old, and 18 month old twins who will also be attending ECS) plus two stepchildren. She is Bilingual in English/Spanish and speaks conversational Portuguese. Tenley recently graduated from Montgomery College with an A.A. in Secondary Education - English, Spring '21. She will be attending University of Maryland, College Park to continue her pursuit of a B.A. with a double major in English/English Education (Secondary Ed). Though her end goal is to teach higher education, she has always loved working with young children. She believes the early childhood years are such a crucial time in development and can't wait to help nurture/guide your child as they learn and grow throughout the year!
