UPDATES FROM THE HAZZAN

• Sunday, December 6 @ 5:00 p.m. - The Sounds of Thanks - Singing - Concert featuring Hazzan Geller and Zimrat Shalom (B'nai Shalom's adult choir) and B'nai Zimrah (B'nai Shalom's Kids Choir). Tickets can be purchased at the door.
  

COMMUNITY WIDE HANUKKIAH LIGHTING

• Sunday, December 13 @ 4:00 p.m. -   Fun for the whole family starting at 4:00 p.m with Latkes and Sufganiyot, and activities for our children under 8.  We will begin singing Hanukkah songs at 4:30 with the lighting of our Hannukiah following singing.

BOOK TOUR COMES TO BSO

• Sunday, December 20 @ 10:30 a.m. Discussion, Coffee and Bagels Led by Heidi Cohen, BSO member & JSSA LCSW,  Mental Illness and Depression and Community Resources.  Organized by the BSO Inclusion Committee. INFORMATION FROM JSSA

• Please see JSSA website for many opportunities from workshops, classes and job assistance [wkshps] [job asst]
• Ongoing - Second Thursday of the month between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Leslie Kessler, a licensed professional social worker who works at JSSA's Department of Aging, will be on site at B'nai Shalom once a month. She will be coming the second Thursday of the month. You are welcome to drop in or call the synagogue office to make an appointment. Please bring issues that you want to discuss, or just come in and say hi so she can get to know you. Her next visit will be December 10th.
