Nursery School

Kiddush Konversation:

• Saturday, June 13 @ 12:15 p.m. - Topic - Kashrut. Led by congregant Earl Kudlick - We'll explore this subject as conservative Jews living in America. The discussion will include practices in the home, practices outside the home and if the price of kosher food products impacts your observance. Join us for a lively dialogue and enjoy lunch(kosher of course) with the other congregants

Shabbat Dinner

• Friday, June 19 @ 6:00 - Come say farewell to all your friends before they leave for the summer. We are having a Shabbat Dinner BBQ summer kickoff, followed by services outside, under the stars!!(reservations) Please note lower price this month!!

Living History of B'nai SHalom of Olney

• Do you have a photo of the first founding group of B’nai Shalom?
• Do you have a photo of the shack or Ground breaking of the building?
• Do you own a Historic Relic that we could show case?

If you do or have other photos, books, artwork from our enriched past. We could use your help. Over the summer months we will be turning our display cases into a revolving history of BSO. If you have anything we could borrow please contact Roni Septoff.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL

• June 15: Last day for early bird registration! Get your forms in early to avoid the late fee.

JSSA’S SYNAGOGUE LIAISON PROGRAM AT  BSO

• Starting Thursday, May 7 between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Leslie Kessler, a licensed professional social worker who works at JSSA's Department of Aging, will be on site at B'nai Shalom every other Thursday starting on May 7th. You are welcome to drop in or call the synagogue office to make an appointment. Please bring issues that you want to discuss, or just come in and say hi so she can get to know you.

Membership Drive

B'nai Shalom of Olney is holding a Membership Drive. We have a couple of very exciting incentives that we offering right now:

• $200 referral Fee - Current Members can receive a $200 Referral Fee credited to their account if their family or friends join B'nai Shalom of Olney.  New Member applications must contain the name of the referring member.
• Two for One - NEW Senior Members (Age 65+) - join B'nai Shalom of Olney and receive your first TWO years of membership for the price of ONE year.
• Two for One - Currently Enrolled or Families New to Our Nursery School join B'nai Shalom of Olney and receive your first TWO years of membership for the price of ONE year, PLUS receive reduced member tuition rates for your children in the nursery and religious schools.
