HAZAK
KOACH - COLLEGE AGE MEMBERS
Now that most of your college students have their housing assignments-- Where are they going to be next year?
Be sure your college student is on B'nai Shalom of Olney's Koach list. BSO maintains a connection to our college students by sending them holiday greetings and packages as well as the monthly newsletters and weekly announcements. If you wish to have your student included, send their name, college, mailing address and e-mail address to Ruth Burka at raburka@gmail.com. Please put BSO Koach in the subject line. We need to hear from you to update their information, even if their address is the same as last year's.
TASTE of ME'AH
Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00 pm - Taste of Me'ah - Baltimore Hebrew University is the Maryland home of Me’ah, an outstanding adult educational experience. Me’ah offers its students not only an opportunity to grow as a literate student of Jewish life, but this program also extends to you an extraordinary opportunity to join a growing community of learners and leaders. This is a true journey of discovery considering such questions as: Who am I? What is my history? How did the religion and culture develop and what does it mean to me?
BHU is once again making B'nai Shalom of Olney it's Olney home. We are now in the process of registration. Now is the time to invest in your own education, and the Me’ah program is the perfect venue. We do hope you will be able to join us at B’nai Shalom of Olney and experience this exceptional program first hand.

Are you ready for some football???
B'nai Shalom has once again committed to running the Kosher Concession Stands at all the Redskins Home Games. We are looking for many volunteers. This is a full day commitment but in the end it is so worth it. For each team we need a minimum of 12 - 15 people per game to do various jobs in the concession stand. Beth and her son Ian have committed to being at every game-- so don't worry if you have never been, they will guide you through. Please respond to Beth Carchman (bcarchman@comcast.net) if you are interested. We are hoping to have some fun competitions between the volunteer teams, maybe even a prize at the end of the season....
