B'nai Shalom presents Joel Chasnoff, Saturday, January 19th at 8:00pm . Featuring a dessert reception. Admission $35/adult and $18/teen. [More Info]
Joel Chasnoff has taken the stage in seven countries around the globe at some of the world’s premier comedy venues, Jewish and corporate events across North America and Europe and hundreds of college and club dates nationwide. On tour, Joel has opened for such top-name acts as Jon Stewart and Lewis Black of The Daily Show and Gilbert Gottfried.Joel Chasnoff brings creativity and imagination to comedy and an innovative look at Jewish life. Joel’s comedy is based on real Judaism and Jewish experiences – such experiences as his nine years in Jewish Day School, his service in the Israel Defense Forces, and your family’s Shabbat dinner. WORK THE REDSKINS CONCESSIONS AND EARN MONEY FOR B'NAI SHALOM
B'nai Shalom has committed to running the Kosher Concession Stands at all the Redskins Home Games. We are looking for volunteers to be team captains and others to volunteer as well. This is a full day commitment but in the end it is so worth it. For each team we need a minimum of 8-10 people per game (the 8-10 people consists of 1 stand manager, 1 assistant manager and 6 cashiers). Since we will be selling beer, kids under 18 cannot count in the total of people. Please respond to Beth Carchman (bcarchman@comcast.net) to set up a time for the game day managers to have a meeting and training. Anyone on your "team" can be the manager. Gather your closest friends or members of your Havurah to make a team.
HAVURAH
The Havurah committee is trying to form a new Havurah geared towards single members of all ages. A Havurah is a great way to meet new people and to form a close knit group within the ever expanding membership of B'nai Shalom of Olney. If you are interested in joining this Havurah please contact Sharon Agranov, Havurah Chair at (301) 260-9303 or sharonagranov@verizon.net.
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF TICKET AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP AT BSO
B'nai Shalom of Olney has your tickets for Fiddler on the Roof at the Olney Theatre Center on Sunday, 12/16 for the matinee. The tickets were mailed and some people have arranged to pick them up at the door. If you have any questions please contact Lori Gardner, lorigardner@comcast.net with any questions.

If you wish to have your student included, send their name, college, mailing address and e-mail address to Ruth Burka at raburka@gmail.com. Please put BSO Koach in the subject line. We need to hear from you to update their information, even if their address is the same as last year's.
