TISHA B'AV

Tisha B'av will be observed on Monday evening, July 23rd at 7:30 in our sanctuary. Rabbi Sunshine and Hazzan Wendy Fried of congregation Sha-are Tefilah will lead the service and congregants from both BSO and Sha-are Tefilah will chant the Book of Lamentations. Please join us in remembering significant dates in our Jewish history. Services conclude by about 9:15 pm.

SWING DANCE LESSONS

BE A MINYANAIRE!

Sign up online to commit to a daily minyan.

Summertime and the livin’ is easy… But the minyans are harder. The challenge of having a daily minyan is more difficult during the summer months. We are looking for people who will commit to regularly attending a minyan service at least once a week so that those saying Kaddish can do so. Please pick any of the daily minyans offered (Monday –Thursday 7:30 PM, Friday morning 6:45 AM, Sunday morning 9 A.M) and email larryfishbein@comcast.net with your choice. Please make this commitment to help those in our congregation as they remember and hi!

YOUTH DEPARTMENT

• Remember to register your children for Youth Groups this coming fall. Registration forms are available online
• As many of you know, USY Encampment and Kamp Kadima is coming up!  From August 20-26, you can spend a week with friends from our chapter and make many new friends in other chapters in the Seaboard region! If you’ve never been to a regional encampment before, you do not want to miss this!! Forms are online.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL

• Requesting 7th grade and up student helpers to help with Office work for the Religious School.  We especially need them this July and August.  We give Community Service hours. 
• RS Registration Please note that Early Bird Registration Is Over (the deadline was June 15th) .   Regular Registration rates are now in effect. Please complete ALL forms per child and return with your registration fee.   The due date for registration is July 14th, 2007. [Forms Online]
