RELIGIOUS SCHOOL

• INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, is this Sunday, January 21st .  If you have not registered, now is the time to do so.  The University is open to the BSO Community and their friends.  There are courses for all ages so please join us.  Walk-ins are accepted.

  11:00 am - 2nd Session

• Volunteers are needed to help setup for International University on Saturday evening, January 20th and early morning on Sunday, January 21st. Please contact the RS Office to sign up or just drop in to help!

The Etz Hayim Bible Brunch offers a new essay each week. As a result drop-ins are ALWAYS welcome. Come to as many or as few as you can fit into your schedule. Babysitting will be available, so please contact the office if you will need a sitter. It is suggested that you read the essays before class. Copies of the Etz Hayim can be found in the Sanctuary or can be purchased through the synagogue office.
This week's Etz Hayim Essay will be Traditional Methods to Bible Study will be discussed on Thursday, 1/23

• B'nai Shalom of Olney sent Hanukah cards to your college students. If your child did not get a card, then we probably don't have the correct information for them. We would like to stay in touch with your son or daughter in college. We maintain a connection to them by sending holiday greetings, packages and the monthly newsletters and weekly announcements. If you want your college student(s) on the B'nai Shalom of Olney Koach list, please send an e-mail with their name, school, mailing address, e-mail and year of graduation to Ruth Burka at raburka@aol.com. Please also forward this message on to other families who may be interested in adding their children to this list.

NURSERY SCHOOL

• Join our Nursery School Director, Pam Gorin as she leads Shabbat Morning Tot Shabbat on Saturday, January 20th from 11:00-11:45am. A relaxed Saturday morning Shabbat service with prayer, songs, stories, and fun, for families with children ages 2-5. Please join the congregation for Kiddush at 12:00!

  Tuesday and Wednesday, January 30 & 31, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
  Located in the Synagogue Social Hall. Proceeds will be used to purchase classroom resources support school projects for both schools.
