• Volunteers are needed to help setup for International University on Saturday evening, January 20th and early morning on Sunday, January 21st. Please contact the RS Office to sign up.

National Annual Hazak Shabbat is January 6, 2007.  Our B’nai Shalom Hazak Chapter will be participating in the service and hosting the Kiddush. Contact Rintzi Pollack if you would like to participate.

YOUTH DEPARTMENT

• Next Youth Commission Meeting is January 23rd @ 7:30pm, we welcome new members to our committee!
• Kadimah is hosting a regional event on January 6th called Saturday Night Live
• One of Kind USY Event - Spend the night at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Sunday Night, January 14th - Monday, January 15th - Private Dolphin Show, Feed the Sharks, Backstage Tour, Kosher Dinner, Breakfast and Snacks! [More Info]
• Machar will be going bowling on Monday, January 14th with residents of Jewish Foundation for Group Homes
• B'nai Shalom of Olney sent Hanukah cards to your college students. If your child did not get a card, then we probably don't have the correct information for them. We would like to stay in touch with your son or daughter in college. We maintain a connection to them by sending holiday greetings, packages and the monthly newsletters and weekly announcements. If you want your college student(s) on the B'nai Shalom of Olney Koach list, please send an e-mail with their name, school, mailing address, e-mail and year of graduation to Ruth Burka at raburka@aol.com. Please also forward this message on to other families who may be interested in adding their children to this list.
