- Religious School inclement weather closing policy
Our religious school follows Montgomery County School Closure policy on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays. If Montgomery County closes schools due to inclement weather,
then we are closed as well. To be sure, you can call the religious school
office at 301-774-9323 and listen to the recording.
On weekends, you should call our office at 301-774-9323 and listen to the
recording or you can check WTOP NEWS 1500 am or online at WTOPNEWS.COM. When
checking online, sometimes it is listed under "Maryland closures" and
sometimes it is listed under "other". On the weekends, we do not
always comply with the decisions of Montgomery County.

MOVIE NIGHT
Next Week - Sunday, November 20th at 7:00pm
"The Believer"
A young Jewish man develops a fiercely anti-Semitic worldview.
Based on the true story of a KKK member in the 1960s who was revealed to
be Jewish
by
a
New York
Times reporter. "The Believer" is a tough, sobering film of extraordinary originality.
It’s utterly uncompromising in its portrayal of a Jew who’s become
not only anti-Semitic, but also a full-fledged neo-Nazi. Young Daniel Balint
isn’t just from a Jewish family; he’s the product of the kind of
intensive religious education that’s the cornerstone of the Jewish community.
Save the Following Dates for Upcoming Events:
- Jewish community-wide Foster Parent recruitment event on December 7, 7:30
PM, at B'Nai Israel to let the community know about our need for emergency,
respite, and adoptive parents
