MOVIE NIGHT
Next Month - Sunday, November 20th at 7:00pm
"The Believer"
A young Jewish man develops a fiercely anti-Semitic worldview.
Based on the true story of a KKK member in the 1960s who was revealed to
be Jewish
by
a
New York
Times reporter. "The Believer" is a tough, sobering film of extraordinary originality.
It’s utterly uncompromising in its portrayal of a Jew who’s become
not only anti-Semitic, but also a full-fledged neo-Nazi. Young Daniel Balint
isn’t just from a Jewish family; he’s the product of the kind of
intensive religious education that’s the cornerstone of the Jewish community.
Save the Following Dates for Upcoming Events:
- Sunday, November 6th @ 7:30pm Kol Haruach Klezmer Band, Berman Events
and Tikvat Israel Congregation are
pleased to announce a concert to benefit victims of Hurricanes Katrina and
Rita.
