The Junior Congregation/ Kids Konversation scheduled for December 11 has been cancelled due to the Shabbat service honoring Rabbi Pohl's 26 years of service to BSO. We encourage everyone to attend and be part of this very special Shabbat service.

How 2 University is scheduled for Sunday, December 19.This is a family education program that will take place in lieu of religious school. Packets were mailed and registration forms are due in the Religious School office by December 8, 2004. Classes will be filled on a first come first served basis. All students are required to attend. Students in Grades N-2 must be accompanied by a parent in the same class. Students in grades 3-7 may attend a different class than their parent. Registration forms can be obtained from the Relgious School office and online at BSO's website.

Help is needed to setup for How 2 University EARLY Sunday morning starting at 6:00am! Contact the RS Office if you can help!

There are still Junior Congregation kiddush sponsorships available. This is a wonderful way to honor your child's birthday, special occasion, an accomplishment, or "just because". The cost of a sponsorship is $36.00, payable to Bnai Shalom of Olney and should be forwarded to the Religious School office.

Our Rescued Torah Fund has now reached approximately $8700.00. We are only $1300.00 from our goal. If you would like to contribute, please forward a check to Bnai Shalom of Olney Religious School and designate it for the Rescued Torah Fund. Our dedication ceremony was beautiful and promoted in the Jewish Week and the Gazette newspapers.

Religious School is closed December 23- January 2 for winter break. Classes resume on January 4.
