High Holiday Tickets
The August 9th deadline
has passed for the first round of ticket sales. You can still purchase
tickets, for the High Holidays. Any questions can be directed at highholidays@bnaishalomofolney.org or
the synagogue office at (301)774-0879. There is more information
and order forms on the web at www.bnaishalomofolney.org
Yizkor Book of Remembrance
If you would like to place
a memorial in our Book of Remembrance, please complete the order
form and return it to the synagogue office as soon as possible,
the August 1st deadline has already passed.
Religious
School
Back to School Packets were
mailed this week. Please read through them carefully and return the
appropriate forms to us by August 20. If you did not receive your
packet please call us at 301-774-9323.
All registration forms should have been sent to us with book and
activity fees. We are in the process of setting up our classes and
will be sending out postcards to confirm your child's assigned day
at the end of August.
If you have not registered your children yet, we can no longer
guarantee the day of your choice. If you have registered and
have not been
cleared by the bookkeeping department, your child's placement is
on hold.
Please be advised that if you registed late for religious school
(after July 1 office billing) those charges have been posted to
your account and should be paid prior to receiving your holiday
tickets.
If you have any questions, you can contact the bookkeeping office

ATTENTION GRADES 8, 9, AND 10 STUDENTS
Upper School begins Wednesday, October 13. Classes are from 7:00-9:00
p.m. every Wednesday.
To those of you who have already registered, we look forward to
seeing you in October.
If you have not registered yet, please send in your registration
form with the $80.00 book and activity fee or call the religious
school office to obtain a new form and place your name on the class
list.
Sisterhood
- Send out New
Year Greetings in the Newsletter this year. Avoid the
hassle of sending out your own cards. Order
form is due
Youth
- B'nai Shalom would like
to welcome Jacob Komisar as our new Youth Director. I'm sure he would
love to meet you and get to know your families. Stop by the synagogue
and say hi. If you want to contact him via email just send a message
to bsoyouth@bnaishalomofolney.org
- THE YOUTH LOUNGE IS OPEN!
Come by to listen to some music, hang out have a snack, or play X-Box.
Our couch is comfy, and so is the rug, so feel free to stop by and
say hello!
