have raised $3500 and need an additional $10,000 to
complete the repairs. Read more about it.

Maccabi Games
Hachnasat
Orechim – hospitality to guests. Perform
this mitzvah and be part of an extraordinary event. The
JCC Maccabi Games are a week-long athletic and social infused
event with informal Jewish education and culture. This
community-wide event brings almost 1,600 teen athletes
from 5 continents to the Greater Washington area. To be
successful 800 host families are needed. We need you to
open your home to these 13 – 16 year olds from Sunday,
August 8 – Friday, August 13. The athletes come from
the entire spectrum of Jewish observance so a diverse base
of host families is needed. As a host family you can attend
Opening Ceremonies, cheer your athletes on at their competitions
and see how one week can make a difference in the life
of a Jewish teen. For more information call 301-230-3704
