Grade and Family, Birthday and Anniversary
Shabbat Service begins at 7:30pm on Friday evening.

Morning Services begin at 9:00am. We will celebrate the
B'nai Mitzvah of Aaron Krens and Zachary

at 9:30am followed by Kids Konversation.

you to Happy Hour at Willie and Reeds in Bethesda, May 19 at 5:00 p.m.
Join us for $2 drafts and $5 appetizer specials. You can come alone,
or bring your friends, singles and couples are welcome! Come and join
BSO and other young Jewish adults in our area for good food and a great

Also, if you are home from college for the summer, Dor Chadash is
a great way to get together with all your friends from your Hebrew
school days. Don't be shy!
Lastly, Anat Alal will
be relocating to the Chicago area shortly, and is looking for
anyone
who is
interested in picking up where she leaves off. Having a young
adult social group at BSO is important, and she hopes that Dor
Chadash can continue to prosper in her absence. If you

- Religious School
- The last Junior
Congregation of the school year is Saturday,
May 8 at 9:30 in rooms 13, 14 and 15. It will be followed by Kids
Konversation at 11:45.
- The
3rd grade will be participating in their Haggigat Siddur Ceremony
and lead the congregation in services on Friday,
May 7th at 7:30.
All third grade students who did not bring their book covers
to school for their siddur should bring them on Friday. Please
make
sure your name is written in Hebrew on the front of the cover.
- The
last upper school class (grades 8-10) is Wednesday,
May 12th.
- The last
day of religious school for K-2 is Sunday, May
16th.
- The last
day of religious school for Grades 3-7 is May 18
for Tuesday students and May 19 for Wednesday students.
- Confirmation for 10th grade is Friday, May 14th.
- Youth Programs - All events are FREE
to Youth Group Members
