• Our Friday night Sisterhood Shabbat service will begin at 6:15 PM. .
• Our Shabbat morning service will begin at 9:15 AM (this will be the time of Shabbat morning services through February 21).
• Our Shabbat Minha service will begin at 12:30 PM.
• Our service on Sunday morning, February 15 will begin at 8:45 AM.
• Our services on Presidents' Day, Monday February 16, will begin at 9:00 AM and 7:30 PM.
• Tuesday-Thursday Minyan at 7:30pm

• February 13: Intergeneration Shabbat and Dinner. For details contact Gail Goldfarb or Helene Rosenheim.
• February 19: Join our very own Cantor Geller for a presentation of "Women in Jewish Song" at 7:30 p.m. at B'nai Israel. Call Sue Hankin for further information or the possibility of a car pool.
• February 22: Lunch at the Royal Dragon kosher chinese restaurant in Rockville followed by a Mikvah tour. Carpools will be arranged. Watch for a flyer soon. For more information contact Sherry Lowe.
• February 29: Take a leap with Sisterhood and join us at our Leap Year Brunch. Watch for an upcoming flyer.

• Religious School is closed Sunday February 15th for Presidents Day Weekend.
• Come one, Come all to BSO's Purim Carnival, March 7 at Rosa Parks Middle School from 12-2:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to help out at the silent auction tables, ticket sales, and booths. Please call the religious school office if you can help out.
• Junior Congregation is February 21 at 9:30 am in Rooms 13, 14, and 15. It will be followed by Kids Konversation at 11:45.
• Kindergarten and First Grades will participate in Shabbat Evening Service on Friday, February 27.
• The Sixth Grade Generations Fair will be held on Sunday, February 29 at 10:30. Everyone is invited to browse through the fair.
• Jewish National Fund Literature to purchase trees was sent home with all students last week. If you are interested in planting trees in Israel, the forms must be turned in to the religious school office by March 14.
• HOLD THE DATE! Passover University is March 28th. Catalogues will be sent home with students on February 29 and available in the religious school office and school entrance.

• Machar is going rollerskating on Sunday, February 15, 2004 from 1 - 4PM at the Rockville Rollerskating Rink on Gude Dr. Members planning to attend please RSVP to either Mickey Parel 301-924-0233 or Laura Levin 301-774-2923. Nonmembers can pay at the door (refer to flier sent home via backpack mail). Please bring snack money if so desired.
